Metso Outotec is extending its product family line of FFP filters with its new Larox FFP3716 filter. It is a high-capacity filter designed for tailings applications. The filter comes with a compact plate pack design and automation to improve tailings filtration. The design features individual controlled sealing cylinders to ensure a squared plate pack at any time and reduces wear on the plate pack and cloth components. The Larox FFP3716 has a slurry inlet design that removes the need for feed shoe handling.
The Larox FFP3716 filter has a 2000m filtration area and a 44m3 chamber volume. It can operate at pressures up to 16 bar.
