Automation runs the show at ITMA 2019
ITMA, the textile technology exhibition that takes place once every four years in Europe, was held from June 20-26 this year, attracting more than 105,000 visitors to Barcelona, Spain.With 1,700-plus exhibitors from 45 countries, featured technologies supported a wide range of fiber-based products ranging from clothing and home furnishings to more technical products such as construction materials and reinforcements for composites. And, of course, both nonwoven and woven filter media.

The American Filtration & Separations Society marked its 32nd anniversary with the presentation of its FiltCon 2019 conference April 1-3 in Cherry Hill, New Jersey. The event featured short courses, technical sessions in four tracks, six plenary presentations and an expo. Leveraging subject matter experts from academia and commercial backgrounds, FiltCon touched on a wide range of topics related to industrial, air, gas, and liquid filtration.
