Oerlikon announced its ecuTEC+ electro-charging unit, part of the delivery scope of all meltblown systems currently sold for the manufacture of protective mask nonwovens. Manufacturers can choose between various options and set the charging method and intensity for specific filter applications. EPA- and HEPA-class filter media can be manufactured using the ecuTEC+.
