Neenah develops Gessner engine air filter medium

Neenah's Gessner engine air

Neenah Filtration has developed a Gessner medium for engine air filters in passenger cars. The A006D medium consists of 100% cellulose fibers and has a paper media deign, increasing the lifetime of the filter medium. When tested according to ISO 5011, the Gessner medium showed increased efficiency and up to 100% increased dust holding capacity at higher flow velocities. The medium is available with flame retardancy according to DIN 53438.

Neehan will be presenting the technology at Filtech in Cologne, Germany and FiltXPO in Miami, Florida.
