LiqTech Hybrid Technology Membrane offers high-precision ultrafiltration

LiqTech Hybrid Technology Membrane

LiqTech has launched its Hybrid Technology Membrane (HTM), a unique filter membrane, which is based on a new hybrid technology where multiple ceramic materials are combined in one membrane. By combining its own silicon carbide technology with another ceramic material, LiqTech has developed an ultrafiltration membrane with a pore size of 60 nanometers, which the company says can filter liquids much more precisely than previously available technology. The ultrafiltration membrane is designed to enable water recycling. The membrane, based on silicon carbide and zirconia oxide membrane, features high flux, chemical resistance in all pH values (0-14), can operate in up to 800 C, and provides a long membrane lifetime in a small footprint.
