LG Sonic launches PO4 sensor that measures autonomously at different depths

LG Sonic PO4 Sensor

LG Sonic launched its new phosphate (PO4) sensor during WEFTEC 2021 in Chicago. The product is the result of a partnership with Dublin City University.

The sensor measures PO4 at different depths, offering a vertical profile of phosphate concentration and allowing the end user to measure the seasonal phosphate release from sediments. It also features a winch that allows configuration of different depths. The system is equipped with a peristaltic pump and contains reagent and waste, eliminating chemical release into the water.
