Kaner announced its Kan-I TLK series filter cartridges, which utilize hydrophobic polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) membrane to prevent water retention, microbial growth and minimize blockage. According to Kaner, the TLK series filter cartridges have high structural strength and corrosion, oxidation and organic solvent resistances to filter a variety of corrosive fluids at a high flow rate.

The PTFE membrane filter cartridges are designed for pharmaceutical, semiconductor and other critical applications. The pleated filter has no surfactants, resins, binders or adhesives and is claimed to be suitable for the filtration of: strong acids and aggressive solutions; chemical reagents; semi-conductor acids, solvent and bases; corrosive fluid sterilization; particles; etching solution; and NMP filtration. It can also be used for venting applications and as a solution for phase separation.
