National Pump Company, a recognized market leader in vertical turbine pumps, will showcase its latest HVAC and industrial cooling solutions at the 2026 AHR Expo, taking place February 2–4 at the Las Vegas Convention Center in Las Vegas, Nevada. The company will team up with Patterson Pump Company to present a model pump and discuss collaborative system solutions for demanding HVAC and industrial applications.

Cooling towers will be a central focus of NPC’s presence at the show, reflecting the company’s strong track record in delivering pumps that support efficient heat rejection in large HVAC and industrial cooling systems. NPC’s vertical turbine pumps are designed and sized to provide effective water circulation, stable flow, and reliable heat transfer, helping cooling tower and chiller plants maintain target temperatures while minimizing unplanned downtime and maintenance. By combining accurate flow and total dynamic head selection with application-specific materials of construction, including cast and ductile iron, bronze alloys, and stainless steels, NPC helps owners and operators achieve long-term energy savings and dependable performance across a wide range of water qualities and operating conditions.

National Pump Company continues to expand its line of low NPSHR impellers. Using a low NPSH design impeller in the first stage of a cooling tower pump helps minimize sump depth, reducing initial installation costs. This approach allows customers to pair a low NPSH first stage with standard hydraulic or high-efficiency impellers in the remaining stages to achieve both NPSHA requirements and optimal overall pump performance. Current low NPSH first-stage options include the L8HC-S, M14XXHC-S, K20HC-S, and H24MC-S models, with additional configurations available across various frame sizes. Building on this installed base, NPC is introducing new and updated designs such as the M12HC-S and H14XHC-S, with the KK10LS and DH16FS models currently in development. These additions give engineers even greater flexibility to balance NPSH requirements, efficiency, and lifecycle cost.

NPC’s product portfolio for HVAC, cooling, and data center applications spans 6–30 inch bowls with flows up to 20,000 gpm, heads to 1,200 psig, and motor sizes up to 2,500 HP. The company offers both standard and thrust-balanced hydraulic designs, along with low NPSH impeller options, to address challenging suction conditions and system layouts. All products are engineered and manufactured under an ISO 9001 certified quality management system at NPC’s Glendale, Arizona facility. Additionally, pumps are tested in accordance with Hydraulic Institute standards to ensure consistent, verifiable performance in the field.
