Grundfos Acquires German Water Treatment Company EUWA
Grundfos has completed the acquisition of the German water treatment specialist EUWA, strengthening its water treatment business in the beverage industry. EUWA designs and delivers water treatment solutions for brewing and soft drink production, with installations in more than 110 countries. It serves some of the world’s largest and most recognised beverage companies.
Renowned for strong technological and engineering expertise, EUWA offers solutions covering the full clean water cycle in the beverage industry. Its strength lies in deep process know-how and flexible, efficient and customised solutions that help minimise water, chemical and energy use.

Metso Secures Two Multi-Year Filtration Life Cycle Services Contracts
Metso has signed two multi-year Life Cycle Services (LCS) agreements with key mining customers: a 5-year contract with a major copper producer in South America and a 4-year contract with a major lead/zinc producer in Asia Pacific. The contracts support processing operations including parts, maintenance, and digital services for an extensive installed base of Larox® PF filters. This customer partnership approach reinforces long-term operational reliability, performance, and sustainability objectives.
The orders total around EUR 60 million. The orders are booked on a phased basis, with the first parts recorded in the Minerals segment’s orders received for the first quarter of 2026. One of the agreements is among the largest filtration LCS orders received by Metso to date.
Nx Filtration And H2O Innovation Partner To Enhance Water Treatment Plant Performance In Québec
NX Filtration has been awarded a membrane replacement project in Québec, Canada, by H2O Innovation, a leading Canadian water technology company. The project involves the retrofit of an existing ultrafiltration (UF) system, replacing legacy membrane elements with NX Filtration’s advanced membrane technology.
The upgrade will enable the municipal water treatment facility to improve operational performance and reliability while maintaining full compatibility with the existing system design. By avoiding major infrastructure modifications, the solution provides a cost-effective and efficient approach to extending the system’s operational life and enhancing water quality.
The project includes the installation of nearly 200 direct replacement membrane modules, offering a straightforward upgrade path that improves performance while retaining the existing plant configuration.
Sandvik Acquires Italian Firm Diemme Filtration
Sandvik AB, Sweden, has signed an agreement to acquire the Italy-based company Diemme® Filtration, a leading provider of filtration and dewatering solutions for the global mining industry, with a leading position in high-performance filter presses. The company will be reported as a separate new division, Filtration, within business area Rock Processing.
With the acquisition, Sandvik enters the filtration and dewatering segment, strengthening Rock Processing’s offering across the mining value chain. The total addressable market is estimated to be over SEK 20 billion. Filtration is a critical process step in downstream mining, and Diemme® Filtration’s solid-liquid separation solutions bring significant customer value by enabling improved productivity, water recovery, and tailings management.
In addition to its engineered-to-order filtration systems, Diemme® Filtration has a sizeable aftermarket business with high growth potential. The company also offers proprietary software for remote monitoring and predictive maintenance, complementing Rock Processing’s digital offering.
The investment is expected to generate returns in line with Sandvik’s cost of capital within 3 years, and to exceed them thereafter. The parties have agreed not to disclose the purchase price. The impact on Sandvik’s earnings per share (excluding PPA) is expected to be accretive. The transaction is expected to close in the third quarter of 2026.
Grundfos Breaks Ground on Americas Campus Expansion
Grundfos, a global leader in advanced pump solutions and water technologies, marked the groundbreaking of a production expansion at its Brookshire campus located west of Houston on June 24, 2026. The expansion reinforces the company’s long‑term commitment to growth in the United States and the Americas.
The event brought together Grundfos leaders; Jesper Møller Sørensen, Denmark’s ambassador to the United States; Brookshire Mayor Robert Richards; State Rep. IWS Acquires Tetrasolv, Expanding Capabilities

Built for food and beverage, pharmaceutical, and chemical industries, the PFP ⁺ range delivers reliable particle retention and consistent downstream protection, supporting stable performance across a wide range of applications.
The PFP ⁺ series represents the foundation of Atlas Copco ’s filtration portfolio, designed as a dependable first
step in the filtration process. Manufactured entirely from polypropylene using thermal welding techniques,
PFP ⁺ filters ensure robust construction, broad chemical compatibility, and a low extractables footprint. The
filters utilize meltblown polypropylene fiber media to effectively retain particles, preparing liquids for

Parker Hannifin Launches Hydraulic Filtration Trolley
Parker Hannifin has launched GLFTrolley, a portable filtration system designed to remove free water and particulate contaminants from hydraulic and lubrication fluids used across demanding industrial applications.
The mobile unit is intended to improve fluid cleanliness before filling, transferring, or servicing hydraulic systems. It can be moved between equipment, tanks, drums, and maintenance areas, giving engineers a practical way to clean fluids at the point of use rather than relying only on fixed filtration systems or scheduled oil changes.
The GLFTrolley is aimed at sectors where hydraulic systems operate under harsh duty cycles, including gas, marine, mining, forestry, and in-plant applications. In these environments, equipment is often exposed to moisture, dust, temperature variation, and continuous mechanical stress, making contamination control a central part of asset protection.
Portable filtration can be particularly useful where equipment is distributed across a plant, vessel, quarry, or remote site. A moveable unit allows maintenance teams to intervene where the problem is, rather than moving fluid or equipment back to a central service area. That can reduce handling risk and make preventive action more likely to happen before contamination becomes a failure.
NX Filtration and Haskoning Collaborate to Enhance Water Reuse
Industrial water filtering compay NX Filtration and sustainability engineering business Haskoning will collaborate on improving water reuse capabilities for mobile wastewater treatment provider’s Nereda Verdygo Package Plants for projects around the world.
The project will utilize NX’s nanofiltration system and provide for decentralized and higher quality water treatment solutions, the companies said. The Nereda Verdygo Package Plant uses its own granular sludge technology to treat wastewater close to the source.
The partnership will integrate NX’s hollow fiber nanofiltration into the mix, which can remove many micropollutants, such as pharmaceutical residues and salts. The tandem will be deployed in regions facing water scarcity and discharge restrictions.
The solution is intended for industrial water applications.
Xylem Expands Long-Term Water Partnership with Dow
Xylem, a leading global water technology company, announced a landmark agreement with Dow to design, build and operate advanced water systems at its large-scale industrial complex in Fort Saskatchewan, Alberta, Canada. The agreement expands Xylem’s long-standing collaboration with Dow, supporting the increased operations tied to Dow’s Path2Zero project.
Under the agreement, Xylem will deliver a full end-to-end solution that includes engineering, system design, and long-term operation. The project is designed to support reliable, high-quality water supply, treatment, and reuse across the site. The system is expected to be operational by August 2028.
“This agreement represents a major milestone for Xylem,” said Rodney Aulick, EVP and President, Water Solutions and Services at Xylem.
“Xylem has been a trusted partner to Dow for many years, and this agreement reflects our confidence in their ability to deliver and operate critical water infrastructure reliably,” said Skya Kruithof, President, Dow Canada.
As part of the project, Xylem will design, build and operate an integrated solution that manages the full water cycle. The system will treat raw water and convert processed water into high-quality reusable supply using advanced multi-stage treatment technologies.
The system will:
- Treat raw water for industrial use
- Convert water from cooling and industrial processes into reusable, high-quality supply
- Optimize performance through long-term system operation
Xylem is leading the full process design and will deliver and operate a complete water system for the site. This arrangement provides Dow with a single partner responsible for system performance, water quality and supply. The project spans a large and complex facility that combines both scale and long-term operational accountability, which represents a step change in how industrial water systems are delivered and managed.
Air Products Membrane Solutions Holds Ribbon-Cutting Event for $70 Million Expansion of its Missouri Manufacturing and Logistics Center
Air Products, a global leader in the production of gas separation and purification membranes, recently hosted a ribbon-cutting celebration at the new $70 million expansion of its Missouri Manufacturing and Logistics Center in Maryland Heights, near St. Louis, Missouri.
The expansion, which is Air Products Membrane Solutions’ largest ever investment in a single location, is driven by growing product demand in biogas and hydrogen recovery applications, as well as customer needs for the use of nitrogen for the aerospace industry and cleaner fuels for the marine industry.
Products manufactured at the new facility will include the PRISM® GreenSep membrane separator for bio-LNG production, and the PRISM® N2Sep membrane separator designed to separate nitrogen from compressed air.

Atmus Announces Kevin Carpenter as SVP, Chief Supply Chain Officer
Atmus Filtration Technologies Inc., a global leader in filtration and media solutions, announced the appointment of Kevin Carpenter as Senior Vice President and Chief Supply Chain Officer, effective immediately.
Carpenter brings more than 25 years of experience leading global industrial organizations through transformation, growth and operational excellence. He joins Atmus from The Toro Company, where he served as Vice President of Global Operations and Integrated Supply Chain.
In this role, Carpenter is responsible for procurement, manufacturing, health, safety and environment, transportation and logistics across the enterprise, advancing Atmus’ strategy specific to transforming its supply chain to better support its global customers.

Cleanova Announces Relocation to New Berkshire Facility in the UK
Cleanova, a global leader in advanced filtration solutions headquartered in Chattanooga, Tennessee, USA, will relocate its UK operations in Berkshire from Hambridge Road to Rivergate House on London Road, Newbury, in June 2026.
Nearly 200 years after the original Plenty operations began in Berkshire, Cleanova is preparing for the next chapter in its evolution.
