Sonderhoff showcased its SMART-M,two-component dispensing cell at FILTECH, Oct. 22-24 in Cologne Germany. The SMART-M technology uses the contour of a filter frame to dispense a gel-like plotting compound into the frame groove. With the filter frame from the air conditioning installation mounted on a frame counterpart with a circumferential edge, the frame edge emerges from the pitting gel based on the tongue and groove principle. The filter seat is hermetically sealed, allowing all air to go through the filter and stopping air pollutant from passing through. To achieve an air-tight finish with SMART-M, the immersion point of the frame edge in the potting returns back to form when removing the filter frame.
